Perfect Car Cares correctional services are offered at two levels. The first level is for very light, normally wash induced minor defects. These types of defects can normally be found on brand new or nearly new vehicles that have experienced prolonged storage conditions and poor pre-delivery preparation. This service is is designed to carefully remove any contamination prior to polishing followed by a single stage machine polish to remove the defects and leave a fresh, high gloss, showroom finish that is perfectly prepared for an application of protective wax or long life sealant.

The second correctional service is for much heavier defects that generally include; oxidation, medium to heavy swirl marks and light to medium scratches. These defects are far more obvious and can clearly be seen in direct or strong sunlight. They can also leave darker paints with a washed out, slightly hazy appearance that will not reflect light as efficiently as it should. These types of defects represent the majority of vehicles on the road today, and with the aid of ultra sonic paint thickness gauges, Perfect Car Care can safely remove 80% - 99% of the imperfections, although, as with all correctional work, the finish is dependent on the severity of defects to begin with and the amount of paint on the vehicle. This service consists of a two or three stage machine polish that firstly compounds out heavier defects and then follows up with a second and sometimes third, refinement stage, leaving a fresh, high gloss showroom finish that, in some cases can be comparable to a complete respray.
